For, each sorority was working on its next Cecil B. DcMille production to be given Thursday and Friday nights. Elaborate costumes were being finished out of crepe paper and cheese cloth; those final touches j were being added to the scenery; and each sorority was having a dress rehcrsal of what it was sure would be an Oscar winning per formance. The A.D. Pi's came out for the first round with a imusical take-off ! on "My Fair Lady" with Profes- sor Henry Higgins, a Carolina alum- nus of the class of 1928, persuad ing Eliza Domuch, a fair lady in the guise of a London flower girl, to go to U.N.C. For (their second party, they had the theme "Castle Bcncathe the Sea." In this skit a confused Carolina 'rushee has a dream that she has been (transported- beneath the sea where she finds out from thc imcrmaids that they also have sororities. She is confronted with such sorori'ics as Omicron Octi Pi with "the eight armed grip," and Iota Eta Eel who represents a really "electric" sorority. Finally, of course, she dis covers her castle beneath 4he sea. The Alpha Gamma Deltas first production had the theme of "Shake, Rattle, and Roll, "a imusical satire of Carolina life built around a dice game with the girls dressed wih dice on their heads. Their second party had as its theme the U.N.C basektball team. In "musical form, it told the story of the suc cess of the team. The Chi Omega's firsit production was on thc idea of the "Lucky Strike Hit Paradc,"featuring songs, and soft dances. At this paily patch. N.C.
