" ' ' Togetherness Is A Beer Blast -1I. Red and yellow, blue and green. Streams of sunshine caught in webs of smoke. Revolving sphere of silver facets, throwing points of light. Vibrations of string and drum. A psychedelic experience? Over 200 junior class members swarmed in and out, moving first from the 10 gallon kegs of draft beer outside, where the boys clustered like bees around honey, to the bar inside where it was all a fella could do to keep can and bottles mov ing. Inside the ballroom the crowd milled and moved to the strains of music provided by the talents of The Fabulous Five. Red, yellow, blue and green stage lights mixed with webs of cigar ette smoke and later afternoon sunshine that streamed in the windows. Above the wild sounds of the combo you could hear a hoarse, "Hey, I know you I Didn't know you were in the junior. . . . oh, well, have a beer any way!" Nothing like a beer for gendering good feel ing and liking for all. One found himself the best of buddies with someone whose face he had never really seen before. The party's fine! girls enjoying the health and good times of their youth floated up and out across air and pond. Ah, that beer tasted mighty good in the cool of a lazy Friday afternoon! . And the beer flowed like water and went down like wine.
