Cassius Clay's lawyers filed a new suit in U.S. District Court here shortly before noon Saturday challenging the government's right to punish the former heavyweight boxing champion for failure to enter the armed services. They added banjo and guitar ac companiment to produce a ser vice that is stimulating and refreshingly different. It de fies passiveness. The seminarians wrote the music for the congregation, not for choir. It is their at tempt to involve the congre gation in the service, to make it more meaningful for each person by making him an ac tive participant. And despite the catchiness of the folk style rhythm and melodies, the words of the chants lose none of their ori ginal meaning. In fact, the addition of greater tempo and melody seems to stimulate in dividual awareness and in volvement not usually evoked by the slow, one-note tradi tional chants. Sunday evening, the service will follow the usual Episcopal form for the celebration of Holy Communion. "Neither party has done any thing for the campus we are going to try to change that," Levy said. Levy has recently, switched allegiance from the Student Party to UP and is "enthus iastic to become part of de veloping an entirely new plan for student government," he said. "SP is not going to mend its ways," he continued, "and the UP plans to offer a radi cal departure from the cur rent ways."
