The game was played on even terms for the next seven minutes until Mike Horvat picked off a Beaver pass and returned it to the White 18. Demp sey took it on two plays to the seven and Price went around end for the score to make it 21-14 with nine min utes left in the game. The White made one last desperation drive and moved the ball to the eight of the Blues with 47 seconds left in the game. Dempsey was stopped at the line of scrimmage for no gain, and then the Whites lost three to the eleven when a handoff between Beaver and Federal was fumbled and rolled out of bounds with the Whites re taining possession. ' Price then hit Davis with a bullet pass on the two, and on fourth and two with 26 seconds left in the game, Price tried to go around left end and was stopped at the one. "I thought our kicking game look ed very poor and we've cer tainly got a lot more work to do there. "If the boys give us this kind of effort next year, we'll be proud of them, win or lose." 5-7 P.M.
