Standing with Allen are Jim Barnett fright) and William T. Watson, vice-presidents of the bank. WCAR is sponsoring the contest in conjunction with its broadcast of the 48-hour long documentary, 'The History of Rock and Roll" which began Monday night and will run every day from 9 p.m. until midnight through Nov. 24. A portable color television is being offered to the person who correctly answers the 10 exam questions concerning the history of rock and roll. Decision Irreversible' Continued from page one The report said that on July 14, "the Chancellor responded to the students' concern over the Provost's actions by stating his surprise at the fact that this had . become an issue since no decision had been made." The Chancellor, says the report, said the provost was only expressing an opinion. The report says than on Oct. 30 the five Social Work faculty members met with the Visiting Committee of the Board of Trustees to express their , support of Anderson. The report states that this summer and fall the Social Work faculty, individually and in a group, requested the provost to' forward his recommendation on Anderson to the Chancellor. On Oct. 20, the report says Morrow 1W. ?V0K 9 "promised Artnur rinx mat ne or someone on the School's faculty would be advised .when the recommendation will be made to the Chancellor." The report concludes that, "as of Oct.. 30 no notice had been given by the; provost of any recommendation." The reports added that Jones said no' official action on the recommendation had reached the Chancellor at that time. 1 Candidates' Meeting Set For Wednesday Chairman of the Election Board David Ruffin has called a compuisory cafididates meeting for Wednesday night at 7:30 in the Student Union. The room number will be posted on the union's daily schedule. All candidates wishing to run for either legislative or class officers are required to attend the meeting. Failure to do so will result in a S5.00 late fee for any candidate without not giving prior notice of excuse. SL Committee To Meet In Suite C Wednesday The Ways and Means Committee of Student Legislature will meet Wednesday night at 7:30 in Suite C of the Student Union. The meeting is being called to consider bills concerning the appointments of Laura White to the Publications Board and of Lee Meyerowitz to the Supreme Court. Other bills to be considered include ones relating to the investigation of visitation irregularities in Morrison dormitory and to examining the function of the resident advisors. Twelfth Night' Try outs Are Set For Tonight Auditions will continue tonight and Wednesday for "The Twelfth Night," an entertainment festival to be held Dec. 12 in Memorial Hall. Dunne Gooch. chairman of the festival, said the festival will be a variety show including a broad spectrum of professional talent and not a Shakespearean play. Students wishing to audition for the show should apply at the Union desk. The auditions will be held in the Union from 7 to l':.'0 p.m. tonight and Wednesday, reported Miss Gooch. If someone wants to be in the festival but cannot attend the auditions, arrangements can be made with the chairman at "This will not be a high school amateur hour."
