There will be a meeting of the NCSL Research Committee today at 4 p.m. in the Frank Porter Graham Lounge of the Student Union. Attendance required for all committee members. Bill reports will be due at that time. The study group on non-traditional approaches to therapy is meeting the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of every month at 8 p.m. at the Wesley Foundation. Commander Grace Hopper will address the UNC Student Chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery tonight at 8 in Gerard Hall on the topic of "Programming Languages: Standards and Needed Developments." Interested students and faculty are invited to attend. Several Lumbee Indian leaders will speak on their campaign to save Old Main on the ' The United States Army offers college men the opportunity to be commissioned as second lieutenants after only two years of on-campus ROTC instruction. You can take advantage of this opportunity by attending a six-week ROTC Basic Camp after your sophomore year and completing the ROTC advanced Course in your junior and senior years. The two-year program is designed specifically to fill the needs of junior college graduates and students of four-year colleges who have not taken ROTC during their first two years Students who plan to earn a baccalaureate degree at one of the colleges offering ROTC Advanced Courses may qualify for commissions by completing the two-year program at that school. The student at a four-year college which does not offer ROTC may be able to enroll in the program at a neighboring institution where such instruction is available.
