Saturday at Duke University's North
Carolina Folklife Festival on the Duke
campus.
A crafts fair, craft demonstrations and
music will be the main features of the
festival. All events except the Friday night
concert are free.
At 2 p.m. Friday, a music workshops with
the Blue Sky Boys will take place with
singing of N.C. textile mill songs.
A concert at 8:30 p.m. Friday in Page
Auditorium will feature the Blue Sky Boys,
Elizabeth Cotten, the Blue Grass Experience
with Tommy Jarrell on banjo and Fred
Cockerham on fiddle and the Golden
Echoes, a modern black gospel group.
Tickets, $2, are available at the Carolina
