UNC students, faculty, staff and visitors
will be glad to learn that the Student
Stores operated Snack Bars, at
convenient locations across campus, are
now offering groceries, school supplies,
make-your-own ice cream treats, and
longer hours, according to Student
Stores Assistant Manager, Martin Freed.
These services are, of course, in
addition to the regular offerings of
packaged sandwiches, soups,
beverages and other convenience and hot
foods.
Mr. Freed announced unequivocably
that it is his hope to see an ice cream cone
in every student's hand, a banana split on
every plate.
