H REE GREAT PROGRAMS
FOR THREE
CAROLINA SEASONS,
Triangle
Dance Guild
The Carolina Union with the Unions
at Duke and N.C. State will bring four
outstanding dance companies to the
triangle during the 77-78 academic
year. Each Company will be in Chapel
Hill for a day and a half residency, and
in addition to a performance in
Memorial Hall, there will be master
classes or lecture demonstrations.

Same Time, Next Year - After two smash
years, Bernard Slade's comedy remains one
of the hottest comedy sensations on
Broadway. The two-character, three-act play
- is the story of G eorge and Dorii; who, though
separately married, meet each other one
weekend out of every" year at the same
bungalow. The audience is invited to journey
along with them from 1951 to 1975 witnessing
, not only the changes in the couple but the

Cabaret - One of the most popular and
belaurelled musicals of the century, the show
played on Broadway for nearly three years for
a total of 1166 performances. This musical
portrayal of a frenetic English girrs romance
with an American against the background of
Berlin decadence when the Nazis were rising
to power is based on the true-life observations
of Christopher Isherwood.
Bubbling Brown Sugar - This is & musical
fantasia of Harlem 1910 to 1940, boiling,
bubbling over with excitement and glitter of
the Jazz and Ragtime era. The lavish produc
tion, sizzling with superb singing, vibrant
dancing and glorious music is Broadway's
newest, hottest smash musical hit.

without a conductor.
Tashi - Tashi means Good Fortune in
Tibetan. The group features four
individuals, soloists in their own right:
pianist Peter Serkin; violinist Ida
Kavafian, cellist Fred Sherry and
clarinetist Richard Stoltzman.
