"Which one are you?" a little boy dressed in Carolina blue asked the reporter leaving the lockerroom. "Is Mike O'Koren still in there?" queried another, hoping that his hero hadn't slipped out the back way. But instead of a basketball, one of the little fans clutched a miniature football, just one indication that even as basketball opens for another season, football lingers on as four Atlantic Coast Conference teams prepare for bowl games. Carolina's opponent in the Liberty Bowl was decided on national television Friday when Oklahoma overwhelmed Nebraska 38-7. Nebraska will face Carolina in the Dec. 19 bowl while powerful Oklahoma goes to the Orange Bowl. I. M. Hipp, Nebraska's tough running back, was held to 33 yards on 15 carries against the Sooners. He had four 200 yard plus games this season and was averaging about seven yards per carry. Nebraska finished the season 8-3.
