charge four men
Chapel Hill Police arrested four men Tuesday
on charges of felonious breaking and entering inlo
a U NC cafeteria.
Pine Room Manager Phil Welch issued a
warrant against Ihe men who are charged with
stealing four coals from the employees' quarters of
Ihe Pine Room, a cafeteria in lite basemenl of
Lenoir Hall.
Arrested were Roy Lee Atwaler. 17, of Rt. 5,
Box ISO; Anthony Dukes, 19, ol 306-B CraijjeSt.;
Anlhony Harrington, 16, of 70.1 Uomains Ave.;
and Arnold Lee Sanford. 18, of 608 Grant St., all
of Chapel Hill.
The men were released after each posted a $500
bond.

the Wilmington ID will hold a rallv at noon today
on MeCorkle Place for the release of the
Wilmington 10.
The National Student Coalition Against
Racism also is sponsoring Ihe rally.
I he ad hoc committee is composed of half a
doen UNC students. Doug Clark, spokesperson
for the group and a former UNC graduate student,
said he hopes the rally will help bring public
pressure on Gov, Jim Hunt to grant a pardon of
innocence to those the committee calls " ictims of
racial injustice."
"The goals of the committee and the rally are to
educate people about the Wilmington i() case
which isa blatant case of a frameup against lOeivil
