This program features Christmas music of Medieval through Renaissance composers. Messiah The Wesley Foundation sponsors this informal performance of Handel's Messiah at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Mary Lou Williams This jazz pianist and composer presents her "Duke Inaugural Concert" in Duke University's Baldwin Auditorium at 8:15 p.m. Saturday, accompanied by Buster Williams on bass and Roy Haynes on drums. She has written for such great jazz artists as Duke Ellington and Benny Goodman and now works with the Duke Jazz Ensemble. Luthermoon The Triangle-based group, with original material rooted in folk, jazz, classical and rock styles, will perform at Sudi's Restaurant, 111 Main St.. Durham. Talent Show UNC hosts sectional competition for the national "Search for the Top in Collegiate Talent" sponsored by Bob Hope and New Mexico State University. Humpty Dumpty This popular children's story was expanded and sophisticated by former Duke Players Guest Director Ken Eulo and now will be produced by the Players in Branson Theatre on Duke University's East Campus Saturday at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday and at I and 3 p.m. Sunday. Antigone Sophocles' tragic play will be produced at the NCCU University Theatre Friday through Sunday at 8: 15 p.m. The drama will be set in a contemporary African village and will follow the adaptation by Richard Emil Braun. James Thurber William W indom re-creates the world of American humorist Thurber through his favorite anecdotes. Tickets only available for the 3 p.m. Matinee Saturday at Stewart Theatre, N.C. A Christmas Carol The Theatre in the Park, Pullen Park of Raleigh, will present its original musical adaptation of the Charles Dickens' classic story at 8: 15 p.m. Friday through Sunday, with a Sunday matinee at 3 p.m. I Remember Mama The good years of 1910 are happily relived in this play about the inspiring mother of a San Francisco immigrant family.
