Another performance will be given at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Chapel Hill Public Library, East Franklin and Boundary Streets. The humorous 90-minute production, with its vivid imagery, might provide the perfect escape for anyone swamped by exam traumas. Six readers take the parts of more than 60 characters as they wake from their dream-laden sleep, bustle through daytime activities and then retire in a single spring day in the village of Llareggub. Kathi Parker Lamb directs the versatile cast interpreting the lyric language of Dylan Thomas, whose only advice to performers of Under Milkwood was to "love the words." Keithia Atkinson, Michael Boley, Scott Bradley, Marcia Daniell, Raleigh Mann and David Royle are the players. f Atkinson, a speech and theatre graduate of Alabama's University of Monteballo, has played major roles in shows there and at Jacksonville State. Boley, a UNC music major, recently appeared in the debut performance of the University Opera Theatre. Chapel Hillians may remember Bradley for his performances in the off-Broadway production of Diamond Studs.. Lamb is a UNC English-speech graduate who has been active in other Readeos Theatre productions. She directed To Kill a Mockingbird and appeared in the cast of She: a Marriage Anthology. t m if m fjaf'gfftf THE ENTERTAINMENT AMUSEMENT CO.
