A semester of junk mail and promotional paraphernalia and a steady stream of hucksters and commercial sales people have not dulled the Arts Desk's willingness to share a few out-of-the-ordinary tidbits. One of the more off-the-wall press releases came from the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws. Its bottom-of-the-line offerings are inexpensive match books emblazoned with the distinctive NORML logo. Various bumper stickers are also LIBERATES 1 1 if i mm isn.vaaan Sticker reasonably priced. Those of us more excited about NORML may opt for a gold-leaf marijuana pin, "the new American olive branch," or a handsome Liberate Marijuana pin, each for $1.25. Pre-packaged gift sets of records and cassettes are being introduced for the upcoming season by Caedmon, the New York based producer of spoken-word recordings. These Caedmon Soundbooks will Pin include four long-play records or casettes, specially packaged for gift giving, retailing for $24.95. The introductory Soundbook series has seven titles: The J. R. R.
