Clogging Workshop will meet at 7:30 p.m. in Great Hall, Carolina Union. Mountain circle and running set dancing. All welcome (free). Items of Interest The Reading Program, located on the second floor of Phillips Annex, has spaces available for instruction in reading speed, reading comprehension, study skills, and preparation for graduate and professional school entrance exams. The program is open to all students, faculty and staff. Instruction time is flexible between 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. For more information call 933-3782. Speaker series set for summer By Lisa Hudspeth Staff Writer The Tuesday Evening Speaker Series, featuring four UNC professors, will run throughout the summer at 8:00 p.m. in the Morehead Faculty Lounge. The first presentation, featuring Dr. Thomas A. Stumpf, professor of English, has already been held. Dr. Stumpf's topic was "What does the satirist satirize, and why?" Dr. William Chamberlin, UNC professor of journalism, will speak on June 13 on the "Economics of Journalism." Dr. C. Hugh Holman, Kenan professor of English, will give his presentation on "Thomas Wolfe's View of Society," on July 11. "Ethics in Medicine will be the topic of Dr. Larry Churchill, UNC professor of family medicine, on July 25. The speaker series is open to the public.
