Contributions should be placed in the box outside the Tar Heel offices no later than noon on Mondays for publication Thursday. All listings must be renewed each week. Today's Activities The Joint Christian Summer Fellowship will hold the first in a series of four meetings upstairs in room 202 of the Student Union this evening at 7 p.m. Tonight's speaker is Jim Abrahamson. Everyone is encouraged to attend. The Full Gospel Student Fellowship will meet at 7:30 p.m. in room 215Carolina Union. There will be' a meeting of the Franklin Street Gourmet at 7 p.m. in the Frank Porter Graham Lounge of the Student Union. Everybody is welcome. Tuesday Tuesday Evening Speaker Series presents Dr. William Chamberlin, professor of Journalism, speaking on "Economics of Journalism" at 8 p.m., Morehead Faculty Lounge. All are welcome. Wednesday The campus ECKANKAR group offers a panel and discussion on the topic "Spiritual Evolution: Choice not Chance" at 3 p.m. in room 213 Carolina Union. Items of Interest The Reading Program, located on the second floor of Phillips Annex, has spaces available for instruction in reading speed, reading comprehension, study skills, and preparation for graduate and professional school entrance exams. The program is open to all students, faculty and staff. Instruction time is flexible between 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. For more information call 933 3782. The UNC Outing Club will be meeting every Tuesday night during Summer Sessions. The meetings will be held in the Student Union at 7 p.m. Also every Thursday at 5:15 there will be Volleyball in front of Bynum Hall.
