Tar Heel coach Beth Miller said the wins were satisfying, although she wasn't particularly pleased with her team's performance. "We have a lot of room for improvement," she said. "I don't feel like we were impressive, but 1 was pleased with the wins...I just don't really feel like we played that well." After ECU downed Appalachian two games to one in the opener, the Tar Heels handed the Mountaineers their second loss of the night winning the first two games and the match.
