The Carolina Union presents (he TregwWilts Duo in con
cert at 8 p.m. in Memorial Hall. This piano and violin duo, in
ternationally acclaimed, is part of the Carolina Concert Series.
I Tertulia, the Spanish Conversation Club, is changing
location. Starting (his week, we will meet at 4 p.m. in the Up

The LNC-CH On K will be going to the state fair this after
noon. In addition, there is a cookout planned for 5:30 p.m.
Saturday.
There will be a question and answer session for the Universi
ty of New Hampshire Exchange Program for the spring
semester 2-4 p.m. in 12 Steele Building. Applications are
available in the Steele Basement.
For Better Not For Worse, a comedy of suffering and hope
by award-winning South African Playwright, Selano Maredi
will be presented at 4 p.m. in the Carolina Union Auditorium,
sponsored by Federation for Progress in cooperation with the
AFAM department and P1RG.
Friday Flicks, a series of audiovisual programs shows at
noon every ether Friday continues with Communication: The
Non- Verbal Agenda, a film presenting an overview of the field
or nonverbal communication. The film will be shown in the
Conference Room of the Health Sciences Library.

"What Photographs Have Done to Us" will be the topic of a
weekend seminar today and Saturday at UNC. For more In

COMING EVENTS
The United Christian Fellowship will sponsor its annual Jam
for Jesus at 6:30 p.m. Saturday in the Great Hall of the
Carolina Union. The activities will include music, drama and
praise. Admission is free.
Senior Class Marshals will meet at 9 p.m. Sunday in 226
Carolina Union. All marshals need to attend.
There will be a meeting of all Student Government Liaisons
at 7:30 p.m. Sunday in 101 Greenlaw Hall. Main topics to be
discussed are cooking in the dorms policy, football ticket
distribution and the FAST program. This is a mandatory
meeting for all liaisons.
Give Barnes, New York Post drama and dance critic, will
have a small seminar form 3 p.m. to 3:50 p.m. Monday in the
South Terrace or the Morehead Planetarium. Anyone in
terested in attending should sign up at the Union Desk as soon
as possible. There is limited space. Bring thought-provoking
questions. Enter the west entrance or the planetarium and up
the stain to the South Terrace. Sponsored by the Union forum
Committee.
"Taming the Mind," a meditation seminar by Kheop Kar
thar Rinpoche, Tibetan meditation master will be at 10 a.m.
and 2:30 p.m. Sunday in 217 Carolina Union. The seminar will
include instruction in meditation and group practice. Beginners
welcome. Bring a cushion. Sponsored by the Carolina Tibetan
Buddhist Society.
SI. John's MCC offers Christian Fellowship to gay and les
bian Christians and friends at 3 p.m. Sunday in Raleigh. Pot
luck dinner to follow worship service. Rides usually are

ferences on the Transcendental Meditation Program continues

Environmental Seminar: Dr. Devra Lee Davis, the Science
Policy Director of the Environmental Law Institute will speak
on "Cancer Prevention: Scientific and Policy Issues" at noon
Monday in 231 Rosenau Hall.
There will be a BSU choir concert at 6:50 p.m. Monday at
University Baptist Church at the Yates Association meeting.

The Phymakers Repertory Company is now recruiting
