In an effort to help students interested
in health careers after graduation, the
PremedicalPredental Advising Office is
revitalizing its advising program.
"It's not that the office, hasn't' been
there, it's just that it hasn't been visible,"
said Robert Thorpe, assistant professor
of medical allied health professions and
faculty coordinator of the PremedPre-

works in the office now draws up a com
puter profile on the type of students
medical schools are seeking, Thorpe said.
There is also a student advisory staff
consisting of seniors who have been ac
cepted at medical schools. The student
advisers are able to offer first-hand infor
mation to those interested in health
careers, Thorpe said.
