Bradley-Doppes named
volleyball coach
Peggy Bradley-Doppes, volleyball
coach at Miami of Ohio for the past
five years, has been named as the
new volleyball coach at the Univer

Bradley-Doppes replaces Dr.
Beth Miller, the Tar Heels' coach
for the past nine years, who will
become director of athletic business
affairs for the University.
Bradley-Doppes led Miami to
three Mid-American Conference
championships and averaged 32
wins a season during her five-year
tenure. She was named MAC
Coach of the Year in 1981, when
she led the Redskins to a conference
championship and a school-record
43 wins, and again in 982 when
Miami won its third straight league
title and finished 18th in the nation
with a 41-11 mark.
Miller led the Tar Heels to 276
wins against just 125 losses from
1975-1983. UNC has won four
straight ACC titles and has ad
