McCullock, a security director, filed for Orange County sheriff. Walters, Orange County Planning Board vice chairman, filed for a seat on the Orange County Board of Commissioners, and Connerat, a Carrboro attorney, filed for clerk of Orange County Superior Court. County offices up for election are: sheriff, register of deeds, clerk of superior court, three seats on the board of commissioners, , district attorney, district court judge and four seats on the Orange County Board of Education. Two state representatives and two state senators will also be elected in Orange County. Feb. 3 is the final filing date for the May 6 party primary. Elections will be held on Nov. 4. r Campus Calendar The DTH Campus Calendar will appear daily.
