North Carolina freshman Darryl Wyatt advanced to the finals of flight B singles with five wins in the 25th annual Southern Collegiate Tennis Championships held at the Uni versity of Georgia. In doubles action, Wyatt teamed with UNC senior Sean Steinour to move to today's semifinals in the B Division. The Tar Heel tandem advanced by oust ing Alabama-Birmingham's Christian Paul and Tobias Spanke 7-6, 6-3. Wyatt, the eighth seed, earned a singles championship berth with a 6-2, 6-4 downing of Mississippi's Ali Hamadeh in Sunday's semifinals. EarlierSunday, Wyatt moved on with a 6-2, 6-0 quarterfinal thrashing of Jan Fredrikkson of Murray State. Wyatt will face UAB's Paul for the title.
