Greenfield will fly the newest Air Force jet trainers and receive special academic and military training during the year-long course. He will be awarded the silver wings of a pilot upon graduation. The lieutenant, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. M. Greenfield of 322 W. University drive, Chap el Hill, was commissioned upon his graduation from the U. S. Air Force Academy in 1963. DR. FREDERICK BLODGETT To Give Lectures Dr. Frederick M. Blodgett, As sociate Professor of Pediatrics at Yale University School of Medi cine, will address western N. C. doctors attending the current Postgraduate Courses in Medi cine in Asheville and Morgantpn on “Abdominal Pain” and “The Management of Growth Failure.” Dr. Blodgett will be at Asheville October 15 and at Morganton Oc tober 16. , The Postgraduate Course in Medicine is offered jointly by the UNC School of Medicine, the UNC Extension Division, and the Buncombe and Burke County Medical Societies. k- I DR. THOR HALL Hall To Preach At Aldersgate The Reverend Dr. Thor Hall will preach at the 11 a.m. wor ship service at Aldersgate Meth odist Church Sunday. Dr. Hall, a native of Oslo, Nor way, has served local Methodist Churchs in Norway and was for four years director of the church’s national youth depart ment. He is an ordained minister of the Methodist Church and re ceived his education at Oslo Uni versity; Scandinavian Methodist Seminary, Gothenburg, Sweden; Kelly Oaks Colleges, Birmigham, England; and Duke University. Dr. Hall has served several Methodist Churches in the United States and at present is Assistant Prolessor of Preaching and The ology in the Divinity School of Duke University. The public is cordially invited to attend this service.
