Eva Kate Bullard Burks of Chapel Hill, who died Wednesday afternoon at her home. Mrs. Burks was 74. The services were conducted at Walker’s Funeral Home chapel Dy the Rev. Clyde McOarver. A second service was conducted Friday afternoon in the Metho dist Church in Roseboro by the Rev. H. S. Garris. Burial was in Roseboro Cemetery. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Edmund Blower of Akron. Ohio, and Mrs. L H. Crumpler Os Raleigh; one son, Edward C. Burks of Bayside.
