"Faith and Reason" is the theme of the talks, which will be delivered Sunday and Mon day. Dec. 15 and 16, at 8 p.m. in Howell Hall Auditorium on the University campus. Rabbi Borcwitz is also a lec turer in Jewish religious thought at the Hebrew Union College, adjunct professor of religion at Temple University in Phila delphia, a weekly lecturer at the Young Men and Women’s He brew Association, and editorial adviser and educational consul tant to Behrman House, Ameri ca's largest independent publish ing house. Dr. Borowitz is closely associ ated with youth and educational programs of the Reform Jewish movement and is Hie creator of the National Leadership Insti tute and the National Kallah (study retreat) programs of the National Federation of Temple Youth (NFTY). Dr. Borowitz represented NFTY at the found ing convention of the Youth section of World Union for Pro gressive Judaism. A delegate to the 1960 White House Conference on Youth, Rabbi Borowitz also served as a member of the American and the International Planning Com mittees for the 1962 World Con ference on Jewish Education. Rabbi Borowitz received his bachelor’s degree from Ohio State University and was ordain ed by the Hebrew Union Col lege. Lloyd Funeral Thursday Funeral services were conduct ed Thursday afternoon for Lewis Johnson Lloyd of Chapel Hill, who died Tuesday night. Mr. Lloyd was 96. The services were conducted at &e Bethel Baptist Church by the Rev. Richard L. Park and the Rev. Leon C. Cheek. Burial was in the church cemetery.
