FAITHFUL Because they have an independence based on the knowledge that through tneir organization they are able to sell their serv ices at decent wages, members ol Organized Labor are good citi zens and are community builders, in the first place they have learned hi their struggle to better their conditions and raise their wages the value of co-operation. One of the primary principles of unionism is co-operation, 'those who do not know how to co operate for the general welfare ol the whole, are not members of Organized Labor. Community building and community advancement aft also base don co-operation, and the (ability ol the individuals involved to work together for the good of the whole. Because they have learned this fundamental lesson and have reaped some of th benfits from it, members of Organized Labor lead the list of home owners. They have pride in their homes and in thei rcommunities, and are always ready to step out in front to take an active part in the things that will make their com munities a better place in which to uve. Good citizens are not bred by low wages and deplorable work ing conditions. Good citizens and good community builders are not to be found in the ranks or the disorganized. All of the funda mental principles of Organized Labor are m keeping with good citizens and good fellowship. * Loyal Trade Unionists are a distinct asset to any town or city because they are builders, and they have already learned to co operate for the general welfare. Wherever Trade Unionists are given a definite part in civic affairs, you will lmd a town or city that is an attractive place in which to live.—Exchange.
