and in 1941 was given an honor
ary degree of doctor of laws by
the Rlackstone school in recogni
tion jof his pioneerng work in
adult education as a member og

weather, the Federal Reserve
Board reported. Output of the

length, content or frequency of change of its advertising
messages. To change messages at any time, call 33155.
Time Service and its staff are under bond to serve ad
vertisers and the public properly. Galls are counted by
the operators and by Southern Bell Telephone Company.
Transmission records are open for public inspection.
Calls originate from 43,000 telephones within Mecklenburg
County only. 148,000 people live in this telephone area.
Advertising positions are given without cost when avail
able. Calls can be rotated around-the-clock or transmitted
at one regular time every day.

A two per cent cash discount is offered on bills paid by
10th of month following transmissions.
