Act,” a new radio series to be
heard over the NBC network on
Saturday evenings, 7-7:30 p, m.
Eastern Standard Time, begin

series tells the story of how a
group of Americans, using demo

solve some of the economic and

“Living 1960” program unit of
the National Broadcasting Com

The program employs a new
technique which is inspirational,
highly dramatic, and full of

voices of the actual people who
lived the story. It is done in
documentary style with NBC’s
Ben Grauer, the only profes

as commentator, and Elmer Mc
Kee, who originated the series’
idea, as field reporter.
Each story is a dramatic ex
