American telephone service today is rapidly expanding.
Local and long distance telephone traftc is at its peak.
A constantly increasing number of new telephones are being
installed — switchboard facilities expanded — new equip
ment added. *
In spite of this enormous progress, however, sosna
people are still waiting for service. This is caused by a
combination of trilb existing material shortages and an
increasing demand far telephone service.
But we hope that the giant strides being taken today
will toon overcome every obstacle, and everyooc desiring
service will have it soon.
