Tomorrow may be too late. You need Him every day and every hour, every minute and every moment. You need Him to live by, and you shall need Him to die by. If you have Him in your life while the sun shines brightly, you will have Him when the shadows gather. Multitudes of people never seek the Lord for the salva tion of their souls, nor seek His help in any way, until the shadows gather. We mean by this, they never repent, or call upon God to save them, or help them along life’s journey, until they get in trouble Sickness drives many people to prayer and repentance. Misfor tunes of different kinds drive others to God. Loss of property sometimes awakens and arouses people to see their need of God. Death and a casket in the home opens the eyes and hearts of many people to a realization of their need of the Lord. Maybe it is not until sore disappointments come to some before they will turn unto God. At present this horrible World War is bringing many people to repentance and to God. They realize that the governments of earth are tot , tering; that anger and hatred has become so terrible, causing the blood of millions to be shed; that their sons, husbands and sweet hearts have nothing to look tc for protection but God, until it is bringing them upon their knees in heartache and repentance. Well, it is better to repent, seek God and be saved under the dreadful shadows that go on in sin and wickedness and be lost in a devil’s hell. It is better to be saved “by the skin of the teeth” than to be lost forever. But this is indeed risky. It is too risky. Don’t wait for such. Don’t wait until the shadows gather over your life to seek the Lord and be saved from your sins Seek Him while you are in good health. Seek Him before sickness and death comes to you or youi home. Seek Him when the sue shines brightly. Seek Him before misfortunes, heartaches and trou ble comes. Dear soul, don’t wait for the shadows to gather thick and gloomy over your life and soul to think of God and your great need of Him. Seek Him now. However, if it has taken ithis great war to enable you to realize the need of a Savior, then ; make the best of it. He is ready to hear your penitent cry, and to hear your prayers in behalf of others. Although the shadows have gathered over your life and soul, cry, cry mightily unto God. WALTER E.
