It seems that they wanted to ''cut a swell," so they made it up to danct the round dances w ith each other to attract atten tion. They did so. A day or so after wards some of the 3'oung ladies, who were there alo, were in town. One of the three, a merchant,- asked them if any town hoys were out at the dance. One of the ladies, not recognizing the mer chant as one of those at the dance, said, "Yes. there were two or three jumps from town out there tryii-g to dance."
