his trouble. The letter also stated

The recipient of the letter also had
tbe mole. At Tarhoro' be was in
terviewed by many prominent men
of that town. It is stated that, in
alt probability he is tbe long-lost-on.
He has the family complexion, red-dish-brown
hair, an i the expression
of the Chancy people.
How be got to Savannah Is a mys
tery. Should be prove to be tbe
long-lost-son there will be several
happy hearts around tbe family
hearthstone to-day. He went down
to meet his fate with fear and trem
bling trembling in his great yearn
ing for a mother's love and father's
protecting care, and with great fear
lest after all, his fondest hopes might
be blighted in disappointment. But
be believes that the band of Provi
dence directed the book aent and

ing him to loved one from whom he
has been sepsrated so long by most
