The first of the new state regula
tions governing automobiles is that
none tinder the age of sixteen years
shall drive an automobile, nor anyone
over that age who is not mentally and
hysieally capable of managing a car.
There are som that come under both
these clauses who are running cars
around town, which must be stopped
as the local authorities are instructed
to regulate this state law.

state license is liable to proseeution.
This year the notice "license applied
for" will not be permitted as evi
dence that license has been applied
for. The poilce of every town in Nor
th Carolina is instructed to arrest all
who tomorrow violate the new state
law.
