Branch HOLD YOUR COTTON FOR 36 c. The world is short of t-otton and you can gt?t this price if you will not rush your cotton to market. It means thousands of dollars in your pockets. Cotton mills will sooi be forced to go into the market to suppy their needs. The American Cotton Association asks you to help the cause by not sei ing for less than oG.e. in October, and increase the price half a cent a month from now on. The cotton crop is short and there is a' bigger demand for cotton goods than in many years. The farmers deserve nip re than the cost of production for his crop, anl they get a fair price for cotton if he will only stick together and hoid cotton off the market now. H a X a H W X 3 'A n 3 S ORGANIZE COTTON WAREHOUSES The American Cotton Association fur nishes the organization through which cotton warehouses may pe estaplished in every cotton growing conimurity, either under the Federal or State plan. Join the Association ar.d help get en ugh warehouses to store all the cot ton produced in the County. Whei you store cotton in a State warehouse you can take the cotton re cept and get money with which to tide you over until the price is right, and you want to sell. Warehouses will keep the cotton in the farmer's hands, and keep it out of Wall street peculators. Tape it over with your neighbors and your business friends, your merchant and your banker. KELP PROSPERITY TO STAY WITH It is now or never with the cotton farmer and the b:r;i:ess men of the South. We are piosperous this year, and have the money to organize to maintain a fair price I'd- cotton. You, who ren:. :nl)e.- the days of six cent cotton! Do you want to see a re turn of those days? They will curely come unjess we take steps to prevent their return. The only way to do this is to organize and work together for a fair price for cotton. Everybody who has handled cotton has made money ot of it that is ev erybody except the farmer. If the far mer and his real friends stick together now, if they join the American Cotton Association and hejp in its work, we can invite prosperity to make her home in the South and the invitation will be accepted. See your County Chairman and get Literature which tells you all about it.
