Senate Resolution calling upon him for information as to action taken by the Government for the suppres sion of radicalism throughout the country and asking him to submit draft of a law designed to pre vent seditious propaganda and activity of all kinds, Attorney General Palmer has sent to the Senate a most interesting report on the subject and also the draft of a statute which seems fully to meet the needs of the situation. We quote below the substance of some of the many important statements contained in the Attor ney General's report: At the present time there are 222 radical newspapers published in foreign languages and 106 rad ical newspapers published iw the English language in this country. There are also 144 radical news papers published in foreign coun tries which are received and dis tributed to subscribers in this country. Large numbers of books, pamphlets, and other publications of a radical nature many of them in foreign languages ;ilso re ceive wide circulation.
