So far I have not heard very much about who we will have to run our town for the next two years. I want to say that I think it very important that we elect the right' man for our Mayor j a man who can give the office the necessary timj a man who is not only fit by tempera ment and ability, but a high-toned, christian gentleman, who is a leader in all good works for t.e town and this community. Yes, we need for our Mayor a man with a plenty of good eommonsense, who can see your side, my side, and the right side of any question wnicn may come tip. When we want a real man to fill any great office in our State, or run our schools, we want a high-toned christian gentleman to fill these places. Now, why not display the same rule and use the same good judgment in electing a man for Mayor of - our town. J. IX RAY. Exercise are Mrs. Bettie Vincent, of Suffolk, Va. who has been visiting Mrs. W.
