AprU , 1868. ; GENERAL ORDERS, ) " ' The Ordinance of the Constitutional Con vention of the State of North Carolina, con vened in .conformity with the Act of Con gress of March 33, 1867, supi)lementary to the Act of March 2j ;1867f "to provide! for the more efficient government of the rebel States," entitled "An Ordinance respecting the jurisdiction of the couvts of this State,'' which was, ratified in said Convention on the, IT tU day of! March, 1868, and which is here with 7 published, is hereby ' approved, and will have, the force of law in said State until the question of the jratification or rejection of the; Constitution framed by said Conven tion, by the people of said State, shall have been determined by an election held in the manner prescribed by law, and, in the event of the rejection thereof, for the furthor peri od of. thirty days: Provided, that the terms of said Ordinance shall not be held to apply to or conflict with any agricultural or labor lien guaranteed by any law of said State Under the President's proclamat: the 29th of April, 1865, or by any military orders frorii these Headquarters, no w in force. Section 4. Be it further ordained. That Section 11 of ; the above entitled . Act ' be amended to read follows : ; ., Section 11.
