The delinquent list ef 1870 charged with double tax amounts to . f 4,462 4fc, or, an additional burden of $2,231 21 to those who neglect to attend to this important matter. Great liberality has been extended to these persons by the Board of Aldermen and much of the double assessment remit ted.
