The Lumber man's Salesmanship Conference, for which a call was issued several weeks ago by the Northern Hemlock and Hardwood Manufacturers' Association, began its sessions here today with an attendance of several hundred lumber manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, commission men and salesmen.
