She wants all to understand, that the members of the society appreciate the' splen did manner in which the public re sponded to the appeal that will make possible a happy Christmas for the Wilmington boy's in Mexico. The society recently shipped fif teen comfdrt kits to members of the Wilmington Engineer company and while this fact is not generally known ,the boys received them long ao and have been enjoying their use rince. The local Red Cross society ha; perhaps done more for the boys from this city that are on the border than any organization has done for young men from their community and much df the credit is due Mrs. Cuth bert Martin and Mrs. L.
