She was bom in Gates NC to the late Jesse and ArviUa Lang Doughtie and was predeceased by her husband, Ira G. Cutrell; sis ters, Adele Cowper and Sarah Evans; brother, Ray Doughtie. Jessie was a member of Cashie Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. She is survived by daughters, Glenda C. Whee- less and husband John of Nashville and Carol C. Strother of Oxford; sons, Glerm Cutrell and wife B.J. of Greenville, Donald Cutrell and wife Lynn of Fairhope, AL, George Cutrell and wife Cathy of Herndon, VA; brothers Bradford Doughtie of Eure and J. C. Doughtie of Ahoskie; 17 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Saturday March 3,2018 at 2:00 PM at Cashie Baptist.
