The 69th Annual North Carolina
Herring Festival is gearing up for
Friday and Saturday, March 30
and 31.
A weekend of quality music,
good food, fun rides and multiple
vendors will entertain people of
all ages.
N.C. Herring Festival Director
Sharon Britt wants motorists to
be aware that Main Street will
be closed from noon on Friday,
March 30 through midnight on
Saturday.
Carnival rides will be available
through Fun Time Amusements of
Danville, Va.
Armbands can be purchased in
advance, or the night of the event
for Friday night only. The arm-
bands price is $12 in advance, $15
at the door.
“Tickets will have to be pur
chased Saturday for the rides that
day. The armbands are only good
for Friday night,” Britt said.
