J.T. Hoggard and Roger Manning will host their 9th Annual-
Plow Day Saturday, April 21 at 114 Zeddle Lane in Askewville.-

The Bertie County Branch of the NAACP is hosting its 35th An
nual Freedom Fund Banquet at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 21 at the
Cashie-Heritage Convention Center, 118 County Farm Rd. in

Scholarship Fundraiser
The Rick Woodard Scholarship Foundation will host a fund
raiser starting at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 26 at Cashle Country.
Club In Windsor. The fundraiser supports two $2,500 per-yeait
scholarships toward students entering a medical education:

time. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased from any local
