Road Closure
The North Carolina Department of Transportation closed
Jeff White Road in Bertie County on Monday, Sept. 24. The
road closure is to allow the replacement of Bridge #34 over
Eastmost Swamp. The road should reopen to traffic by Jan.
30,2019.

Donations are currently being accepted for victims of Hur
ricane Florence. Items needed are bottled water, cleaning
supplies, Clorox and nonperishable food items. Drop off
