month.
Late Tuesday afternoon,
N.C. Governor Roy Cooper

will be a mix of in-school
learning and remote learn

“As summer rolls on, many
students and parents are dis

across the country.”

say each school district
must provide a plan for re

not able to return to school
or the parent chooses not to
allow the child to return to
in-school learning.
He called Plan B a “mea
sured, balanced” approach
and said it includes pro
visions for safety when it
comes to COVlD-19, includ
ing face coverings for stu
dents, teachers and staff as
well as social distancing.
Gov. Cooper said the state
will provide five reusable
face coverings for each stu
