While some may still gather as normal, the world around the holidays has changed - perhaps forever - and it will affect each person’s plans for the holidays. Thus far, most Christmas parades have been canceled and many of the other Yule- tide events seem unlikely to occur. It can be a difficult time for many. So, the newsroom at the Bertie Ledger-Advance de cided it would be a good time to let the readers of the news paper reminisce a little as De cember approaches. “Almost everyone has a fa vorite holiday memory or a favorite holiday tradition,” Bertie Ledger-Advance Pub lisher Kyle Stephens said. “We want to hear yours, and to share it with the readers of our newspaper as a way to celebrate the season.” What the newspaper is ask ing for readers to take a few See MEMDRIES, 3 'Families of Faith' highlight new magazine WINDSDR - The latest edition of Eastern North Carolina Liv ing gives a nod to the upcoming Christmas season. “As a way to approach the Christmas season which likely won’t have many of the events we’ve had in the past, we decid ed to go a different way,” Eastern Living Editor Thadd White said. “We focused on people of faith in our communities, and how that life of faith has guided them.” As always, the magazine fea tures a local subject.
