At CARE, we can't promise an end to the world's problems overnight. But every day, we're working to help bring about the kind of solutions that just may prove to be the beginning of the end. you see, we believe orily by attacking poverty at its roots can you hope to put an end to it once and for all. That's why CARE doesn't simply go into an impoverished community, leave food. shelter and medicine and then leave them vulnerable to whatever disaster may strike next. Instead, we stay on to work with the local people, helping them get the resources, education, training and skills needed to contribute to their own security and that of their community. Strengthening their ability to improve their own lives not only contributes to their sense of dignity, it's the key to making lasting change a reality. It's only when those communities can support themselves that we know weVe left the world with one less problem. And it's something we can only ^ cafe“ where the end of poverty begins do with your support.
