Miss Marie Elders and rred
Blaine were quietly married in
Clayton, Ga., on Thursday, De
cember 3, in the ordinary’s office,
in the presence of a few invited
friends.
Mrs. Blaine is the only daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Elders, of
Franklin, and a student in the
Framklin high school.
Mr. Blaine is the son of Mrs,
Lula Blaine and the late Lucius
Blaine, of Franklin. He is an em
ployee of the Burrell Motor Co.
Mr. and Mrs. Blaine vpill make
their home in Franklin.
Youngsters are apparently more
careful than adults. The accidental
death rate for boys and girls is
lower than for men and women.

Miss Elizabeth Bryson and Bris
coe M. Dills were married in Clay
ton, Ga., Sunday, December 6, in
the presence of a small assemblage
of friends.
, Mrs. Dills is the dkighter of
Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Bryson of
Cullasaja. She was beautifully at
tired in a blue crepe dress with
matching accessories.
Mr. Dills is a young farmer of
the Cullasaja section and is the
son of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Dills.
After the ceremony Mr. and Mrs.
Dills went to the home of the
groom’s parents, where a wedding
supper was prepared by the groom’s
mother, and where they were met
by a number of relatives and close
friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Dills will make
their home on Cullasaja, where Mr.
Dills is now erecting a new home.
They were accompanied to Qay-
ton by Mrs. G. G. Watkins,, a sister
of the groom, and Miss Hazel
Everette.
