Miss Rebecca Dalton and Mr.
Albert Stevens were quietly mar
ried at 3 o'clock Saturday after
noon, February 6, in Clayton, Ga.
Mrs. Stevens is the daughter of
Mr! and Mrs. .Walter. H. ' Dalton
of Leatherman and Mr. Stevens
is the son of Mrs. L. S. Stevens of
Macon, Ga. The bride is a senior
in the Franklin 'high schbpl.
Attending the wedding were Mr.
and Mrs, George Glance, Miss
Kate Shepard and Mr. John R.
Davis.
The young couple plan to make
their home in Macon, Ga.

ENTERTAINS AT BRIDGE
- A very pretty party was that
given by Mrs. James Cartright,
when she entertained with four
tables of bridge on Tuesday.
Mrs.. John Archer was winner of
the high score prize and given a
bonbon dish; Mrs. Frank Henry,
Jr., won second high' and won a
bonbon dish; Mrs. Henderson Cal
loway cut consolation and was
given a guest towel; Mrs. Mar
garet Bryant won low -prize and
was given a ticket fo a shampoo
and finger wave; Mrs. Ellen Mad
den, of Harrisburg, Pa., house
guest of Mrs. Dick Hertzler, was
given a box of Yardley's soap, as
guest prize.
A delicious sweet course with
coffee was served at the conclu
sion of the playing.-

Arnold Rogers has moved to Will
Greene's farm.
Mrs. Luke Howell is ill and in

speedy recovery.
