The room where the guests as sembled for playing was beautifully arranged in a profusion of summer flowers. , High score prize .was won Dy Mrs. Jimmy Sutton, who received a compact, Mrs. frame w.-. ford cut consolation and was pre sented a lovely hooked mat lh guests wer recipients of lovely guests' prize. Keen er of Higdonville. Mrs. Raines was formerly Miss Maude Keener. Miss Lois Keener, of Higdon ville, has gone to Stecoah, Graham county, where she is a member ot the faculty of Stecoah school for the coming school year. Dr. and Mrs. W. B. Mayo, of Washington, D. C, and Richmond Va. were the week-end guests ot Mrs J. C. Harrington, ai nu .... on the Georgia road. Dr. Mayo is a nephew of the famous Mayo Brothers of Rochester, Minn. .Mrs. L. M. Compton, of Atlanta, is spending her vacation with her mother, Mrs. S. P. Penland, and sister, Mrs. J. C. Barnngton. Mrs. J. S. Sloan left Sunday for.
